Original Summary
I just released Loopa with Lumo, an iPhone app for tracking habits you're trying to change. Instead of making a streak the main event, I built a little world that changes as you keep showing up. A rough day doesn't erase everything that came before it. I spent a lot of time on Lumo, the character who lives in that world. Now that the app is out, I'm wondering if I went too far with it. Habits can be a pretty private, serious thing. Maybe a playful character makes it easier to come back after a bad day. Maybe it just feels too cute. :) If you saw this for the first time, would Lumo make you want to open the app again, or would you rather have a plain progress screen? I'm especially interested in first impressions from people who don't already know what I was trying to build. The app also has quick Urge SOS tools for moments when you want to fall back into a habit. You can use it without an account. One active loop is free, and Glow is an optional subscription for more loops and features.
