I'm a Software Engineer. For the last while I've been building something for freelancers and tradespeople on my own. I've got it to the point where other people need to use it before I go further. What it does. Every day people post "I need someone to build my website", "can anyone recommend a painter?" or "looking for an n8n developer". They post in community forums, in Facebook groups, on job boards. The good ones get buried and by the time you find them there are thirty replies. ClientHunter watches the places that allow it, throws away the noise (other freelancers advertising, job ads, spam, people wanting free work) and shows you the few worth answering. They're sorted by how fresh they are, how few replies they have and how well they match what you do. Then it drafts a reply for you to edit and send. It never messages anyone on your behalf. It's a Windows app that runs on your own computer. The AI runs locally too, so your leads never leave your machine and there's no subscription. Where it's honestly at: about 40% of what I want it to be.** It works today. I use it and it finds real posts. But I'm nowhere near finished: Automatic sources are 16 community hiring boards plus a few freelance job boards. Best for web, apps, automation, 3D and design work. Roughly 11 genuine leads a fortnight for that kind of freelancer. Reddit is built but switched off until I get commercial API approval. For trades (gardeners, cleaners, painters) there's almost nothing automatic yet, because that work lives in Facebook groups no app is allowed to read. There's a browser helper that flags matching posts while you scroll your own groups, which is the honest workaround. Windows only. Mac later. The installer doesn't have a signing certificate yet, so Windows shows a "protected your PC" warning once. What I'm asking for: Five people to use it properly for a week and tell me the truth. "This is useless for what I do" is genuinely useful to hear. It's a free trial for 7 days, so it stops searching after a week. Nothing to buy, no card, no account. Who it suits best right now: web developers, app and automation builders (n8n, Make, Bubble, WeWeb), designers and 3D artists. Tradespeople are welcome, but you'd be testing the browser helper more than the automatic search and I'd rather say that up front than waste your week.
