Hey everyone, Solo building a household budget app for couples over the past ~6 weeks, and wanted to share it here since this sub has been useful for figuring out what to prioritize next. The problem: most budgeting apps are built for one person. My girlfriend and I tried a few, and they all fell apart the moment we tried to track shared expenses someone always forgot to log something, or we ended up with two separate half-finished spreadsheets. What I built: ZoxTeam a shared budget app for two people. Both partners see the same numbers in real time, split expenses, set joint savings goals, and track them together. To make the "logging expenses" habit actually stick, I added light gamification daily streaks, XP, levels but built around the couple as a team (shared streak) rather than one person competing against the other, since I didn't want it to turn into a "you didn't log anything today" guilt trip. Stack: Flutter + Firebase. Chose Flutter mainly so I'm not locked into Android only long-term. Where it's at right now: very early live on Google Play, but only a handful of real users so far (myself, a few friends, some people who found it through a blog I started writing on the side). Retention data is too small to mean anything yet, which is honestly why I'm here looking for people willing to actually try it for a week or two and tell me where it falls apart. What I'd love feedback on: Does the "couple as a team" streak mechanic sound appealing, or would it feel gimmicky/annoying in practice?
