Original Summary
Burner account and keeping it generic. Have been building a software for the past year with a team of in-house devs. For context, I had zero software experience one year ago and decided to start vibe coding a software. It’s not a new service, but rather a niched down version that solves very specific needs/wants. Since the start of this, I’ve spent roughly $950k all-in, and my cofounder also doesn’t come from the software world. Our soft launch has been very successful and we’ve locked in $1.52m ARR from our core customer base. With the launch coming up (Jan 27) and plans to rapidly expand into other industries, it’s all hitting me that I have a lot to learn and I must learn quickly. Planning to hire a full sales team, onboarding team, and most importantly, customer service/account reps. We’ve had the security audits and are going through SOC Type II and everything that goes with it. My question’s are: For those who have ran a successful (or not successful) startup in this space, what’s something you wish you knew before rapid growth? What internal metrics are you tracking (outside of the usual) that’s been key to your success? Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/Proud_Bullfrog1927 [link] [comments]
