Only got approved 2 weeks ago but suspect like most of us, 100% of effort thus far has been in making it, 0% in the getting it out there. So far 163 impressions and 18 downloads so I'm fine with the conversion rate (21.5%) but just need to fix visibility. I checked around 70 searches in the UK/US App Store and as expected, not in the top 150 for any apart from its own name. So, rewrote the whole listing and submitted today trying something different in case this research helps anyone: Before After Name ReelOnes ReelOnes: Movie Night Match Subtitle Swipe. Match. Watch. Films & TV to watch together Keywords movie,tv,series,film,watchlist,playlist,friends,couples,night,together,decide,games,quiz,trivia,pick picker,what,quiz,trivia,games,show,watchlist,family,date,friends,guess,swipe,tracker,tonight,list Screenshots Flat images, app screen small, feature-led captions In a phone frame, much bigger, first three tell the whole idea Description Opened with a scene-setting paragraph Opens with one line: what it is and who it's for Category Entertainment, Social Networking Entertainment, Lifestyle What I got wrong the first time: Apple ignores keywords of two characters or fewer, so "tv" was doing nothing. It moved into the subtitle. Repeating words across the name, subtitle and keywords is wasted space. Apple combines them, so "movie" in the name plus "quiz" in keywords already covers "movie quiz". My subtitle was a slogan, not a search. "Swipe. Match. Watch." Type a couple of letters into App Store search and read the suggestions. That list is ordered by how often people search it. It showed "movie quiz" and "movie games" were bigger than anything I'd have guessed, and that nobody searches half the words I'd picked. Only the first three screenshots appear in search results. Mine opened with a feature rather than what the app is for. Happy to be told what else is wrong with it.
