Hey everyone! I’m working on ScriptStudio, an open-source application that brings script planning, local AI media generation, timeline editing, and video export into one workflow. The idea is to make it easier to turn a written script into an editable video while keeping local generation on your own computer. Currently, it supports: - Local narration with Kokoro, video generation with Wan, and music generation with ACE-Step. - Optional Ollama integration for script writing and planning. - A timeline editor with clip previews, captions, and video export. - In-app model downloads and generation progress tracking. - Automatic resource optimization during native render sessions, including pausing configured background workloads and restoring them afterward. There’s also a separate, clearly labeled mock demo for exploring the workflow without downloading the AI models or using paid APIs. It’s still actively developing. Local video generation can take substantial time on consumer hardware, so I’m particularly interested in making setup and progress reporting understandable.
