Original Summary
I have a terrible habit of hitting snooze on autopilot or setting 10 alarms and sleeping right through them. The existing "puzzle" or math alarm apps never worked for me because I’d solve them with one eye open and immediately pass out again. So I built Wakeling https://reddit.com/link/1wnrbns/video/gd6fnk0926rh1/player The core idea: a little pixel pet lives on your alarm, and the alarm literally will not stop until you get out of bed and finish a morning mission. Here’s how it works: No snooze button, no silent switch bypass: It will ring even if your phone is muted. It stays quiet ONLY while you’re moving: The second you stand still or climb back under the covers, it starts ringing again. The default mission is a morning walk. Feed your pet to shut it down: Once you hit your step target, your pet brings you a morning item, you feed it, and you earn “Love”. Zero pay-to-win mechanics: Love is only earned by actually getting out of bed—you can’t buy it with money. You use it to unlock new rooms, bowls, and pets(moon room, picnic rugs, cats, dogs, etc.). What’s free vs. pro: The core alarm, the walk mission, and the first pet are completely free to use. There are 13 rooms (5 free out of the box, others unlockable via earned Love or an optional one-time purchase). Pro adds extra missions like squats and scans, animal ringtones, and reserved rooms. There’s a 14-day free trial with no credit card required upfront. You can check it out on the App Store here: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6799813681 I built this solo, so I’d love honest feedback on the loop, the animations, or any brutal edge cases where you think you could cheat it.
