Original Summary

Basically I’m saying that my app is done. I found myself in the extremely lucky position of making a software for a company I used to work for, a software they didn’t ask to be made for them but found extremely valuable when I presented it to them and later purchased it from me on a monthly basis just to maintain the database and other services and some profit and then thought to myself “oh, somebody else might find this useful”. So I kept developing it, making a landing page for it and such. But man, I can’t get any new clients besides the company that let me build it and seek it to them, no matter how much I try to outreach via email, LinkedIn (looking for maintenance managers), etc. And the app genuinely has potential, the company I sold it to is using every day, all day for their operations without fail, the administrators have their web app and the terrain workers use the mobile app. It’s a CMMS for those who are wondering, basically a type of SaaS where they can manage their assets and do work orders digitally and no, I’m not from the US where I have a lot of competition for those types of solutions. So, what would be a good way to find new potential clients? Because if this company bought all the technicians new phones just to use the mobile app and have all their operations in there, why not any other company do the same? Should I keep going with cold emails, messaging on LinkedIn or should I focus on something else? submitted by /u/blkkkelias [link] [comments]
