so i've been doing some silly programming for a year now yk how it goes build smt finish it and scrap it or not finish it at all but i feel like i am mentally ready and have enough knowledge to dare building my own thing so as told in middleschool i think idk history repeats itself so i'm here asking if someone can give me any tips for stuff that screw him and maybe nice enough to warn me so i wont get screwed too i have a faint idea for an app but i am not sure its that good to pursue i wont get into details but i was told by my cousin to explore AWS (i heard of it never actually checked what it was) i found out as for my understanding of it now that its practically a server hosting but on another level not just hosting a silly VPS or game server it has Lambda's functions EC2 which i yet to fully understand its capabilities and many stuff so i am asking here is AWS a good move or is it an overkill because it seems super enterprise and if it is a good move what things i should explore what should i lean heavily into because its cost effective and helps with overall speed and what is just a scam and not use it because its just rlly no reason to use or give a little less overhead for the dev to pay extra bucks? and i saw some people having problems with many stuff and pretty seasoned guys like my question is what mistakes to not make, tips, frequent problems or fears i've always been scared to build smt get hacked and get ultra sued but i think i can take it on still if you have any tips or thing i seem to not know i'd be happy to learn from y'all the Mods letters says i have to give as much as i get but i rlly have nothing to give i hope y'all dont remove my comment anyway tho   submitted by   /u/Shoddy-Connection-91 [link]   [comments]
