So I built Terrank because of a thing that happened to a friend: He asked ChatGPT what the best product in his business category was, and it recommended 3 of his competitors. Not him. He's been doing SEO for 6 years and ranks very high (usually top 3) on Google for everything. But it doesn't matter. Google isn't where people ask anymore. That's GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Getting AI to mention YOUR business when someone asks. It's the new SEO, except there's no page 2 to hide on. Either the AI recommends you, or you don't exist. We build around this very concept. Fast forward 3,000+ audits later, and I wanted to drop a quick thanking message here. Reading feedback and discussions in this subreddit, among others, saved me from making more innocent mistakes than I can count. People called out the edge cases and generic garbage early on, which kept me from going down the wrong path. I thank ya'll and this community for this, and I wish people keep helping each other here. Here's what we built based on all that feedback: An AI engine that watches your site and tells you exactly what to fix for GEO. It sounds small, but the engine works directly so that your site is favored over others. Competitor AI analysis that checks what AI says about your competitors vs. you (this one hurts to look at, fair warning). Autonomous trend catching so it spots new AI search trends on its own without manual updates. It learns as it goes. Rebuilt the entire audit from scratch to keep it genuinely useful.
