It’s called vCLO (Virtual Chief Legal Officer). The idea is simple: instead of giving an AI one giant legal prompt, vCLO breaks legal work into specialist skills and brings in the right virtual lawyers for the matter. It currently covers: Contracts, drafting and redlining M&A legal due diligence Litigation and arbitration Corporate and employment work Privacy and regulatory compliance IP Investigations and evidence Legal research 168 specialist legal skills in total For complex matters, multiple specialists can work together and produce one consolidated output. It can also work with documents you provide and, where authorised, services such as Google Drive, Gmail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and GitHub. It includes official-source legal research guidance for India, the US and UK, plus access to SEC EDGAR, GLEIF and UK Companies House. Why I built it: AI is already capable of doing a lot of legal work, but generic prompting is unreliable. I wanted to turn actual legal workflows into reusable, structured skills that lawyers can inspect, improve and contribute to. It’s fully open source and MIT licensed.
