Original Summary
I'm curious how other SaaS founders handle the website/landing-page side of a mobile app. I've noticed that for many mobile-first SaaS products, the main public-facing presence is basically the App Store / Google Play listing. That works well for installs, but it can be limiting when you want to: Share a proper URL on social media Explain the product outside the app store Have a page that's optimized for search Show screenshots/features in a more flexible layout Use a custom domain I've been experimenting with this problem myself and built AppShow to explore one possible solution. I'm the founder, so this is a self-promotion disclosure. I'm more interested in the general question than promoting the product: If you run a mobile SaaS, do you maintain a separate website/landing page, or do you mostly rely on your App Store / Google Play listing? What made you choose that approach? submitted by /u/musatnkci [link] [comments]
