hey r/SideProject , long time lurker first time actually posting something of mine so for a while now ive been running a few social accounts (insta, tiktok, x, linkedin, the usual suspects) and honestly the scheduling part was never the annoying bit. the annoying bit was writing the SAME idea 6 different ways because a caption that works on linkedin reads weird on tiktok, hashtags that do something on instagram do literally nothing on x, and threads/discord/reddit all want their own thing entirely. by the third platform i was just copy pasting and hoping for the best lol ended up building fuxux to fix that specific problem for myself — you write the raw idea once and it spits out a version tuned per platform (tone, length, hashtags etc), then you schedule the whole batch from one calendar. it posts to instagram, tiktok, linkedin, x, youtube, facebook, pinterest, bluesky, threads, gbp, reddit and discord the bit i actually nerd out about though — it's got an MCP server, so claude/chatgpt/cursor or whatever agent you use can draft straight into the calendar instead of you bouncing output back and forth manually. felt like the obvious way this should work and i couldn't find anyone doing it also threw together some free tools at fuxux tools (character counters etc), no signup needed, if you just want something useful and don't care about the actual product being upfront cause it IS a paid thing past the trial — starts at $27/mo, 7 day free trial. built it mainly cause buffer/hootsuite felt priced for agencies not for like, one person or a 3 person team juggling a dozen accounts would love actual feedback from this sub tbh, especially on whether the MCP/agent thing is something people here would use or if im just solving a problem nobody has. happy to answer questions on the build too   submitted by   /u/TargetFlashy5061 [link]   [comments]
