Yesterday I posted BarHop here, my bar crawl route planner, with my analytics. You gave me a lot of feedback, and almost every useful comment said the same thing: I'm not making an account to find out what this is. The numbers backed you up. 66 visitors in 24 hours, 20 started signup, 6 made accounts, none saved a crawl. So here's what changed since yesterday: No account needed. Search bars, pick your stops, get the shortest walking route, all as a guest. Signing up keeps your work. If you make an account mid-plan, your crawl carries over. Nothing to re-enter. Accounts only for what needs one: saving, live group tracking, and sharing. No email verification step before starting a crawl either. Bar coverage in ~33 US, UK and Canadian cities, so you shouldn't land on an empty map. New landing page. A commenter pointed out that "find bars near you" is something ChatGPT does for free. The app now leads with the routing and keeping a group together. What I don't know yet: whether this fixes activation.
