I underestimated how different both countries are in terms of what they respond to. We spent two years getting our outbound dialed in the US and we got good enough. We set up the ICP, made a copy that booked meetings of which ~20% converted (Im content with the rate), the whole thing; essentially we developed repeatable motion that consistently delivered. When we opened the UK I assumed it'd be nearly the same, boy was I wrong. The meetings we do get feel cooler, more reserved, convert worse, all on identical copy. I've been doing some variable testing to locate what exactly went wrong: - 1st guess: tone/paralanguage: American copy runs direct and a bit pushy and I'm wondering if that reads as arrogant to a UK buyer who expects more understatement. the words are English in both
