Made this because i run several facebook communities and see a lot of "which ai tools does this" "why so much gatekeeping" "I'm the GOAT of AI" so this was born... kept seeing people ask "what's actually good" in AI tool communities and getting either no answer or biased recommendations, so I built a small directory where tools compete for rank instead of just being listed alphabetically. How it works: - anyone can submit a tool and place a bid (starts at $5) to rank in their category. - Rank isn't pure pay-to-win though — it's 60% bid amount and 40% real upvotes from signed-in users, so money alone doesn't guarantee the top spot. - Whoever hits #1 gets a badge they can embed on their own site. It's genuinely early ....one live category so far (AI tools), built solo, still finding bugs. Not trying to oversell it, just curious if this mechanic (bid + upvote hybrid, vs. straight pay-to-rank) is actually interesting to people outside my own circle, or if it's a solved problem I'm not aware of.
