And when an exhibition or project ends, these websites often sit abandoned on the internet forever like digital ghost towns. So, I decided to build SPOON — an ultra-minimalist, transparent glass frame for your work. Here is the core philosophy: Absolute Minimalism (Zero Noise) No advertisements, no social metrics (no likes or view counts), and no algorithmic feeds. Just generous negative space, refined typography, and the artwork itself. A 1,500-Hour Lifespan Each space stays live for exactly 1,500 hours (about 60 days) — roughly the length of one changing season. It doesn’t sit around gathering digital dust. When its time is up, it fades away gracefully, encouraging visitors to truly pause and look while it exists. (Creators still receive an archival record of the exhibition after it expires). Frictionless Onboarding Creators simply submit their photos and a brief statement. No DNS setups, no complex builders, no maintenance hassle. We also built an interactive "Draft Studio" where anyone can test their work and preview how it looks on mobile in real-time without signing up.
