Original Summary
I had been hearing a lot about delayed reviews and rejections and I was kind of nervous. But for me everything went smooth and the app was approved in 2.5 days. Another update a day after was approved after 1.5 days. I even read somewhere (on X probably) that letting AI agents upload builds to App Store Connect flags the app as a bot-uploaded app and triggers delayed review. This is not true, I used Codex Computer Use to upload the builds for me and even move it to test flight. I used codex entirely for this game: coding, asset design, theme, sounds, app store screenshots, testing gameplay on simulators etc. And no, this was not a one-shot app, I went back and forth for three weeks in my free time to fix the rough edges and direct the gameplay. Overall the experience was more pleasant than releasing an app on the android where you have to fill tons of pages and information, get yourself verified and then find 12 testers for 14 days. This is a casual game where you throw away bad items from two factory lines and let the good items pass. The lines get faster as the score rises and there are some other fun challenges like mystery boxes which you have to first tap to reveal if its good or bad, and then decide accordingly. submitted by /u/hamzarawal [link] [comments]
