Hello everyone 16 months ago I planned to make a quick app for just me and my wife but then my kids found it useful and then friends so I started to expand and feature build and now it's something I'm rather proud of. In a nutshell, the "problem" it solved was finding movies that my wife and I BOTH wanted to watch. Would spend forever scrolling through options, each trying to guess what the other might like and eventually one of us would agree to something we weren't interested in and would spend the next 2 hours on our phone. ReelOnes is essentially a movie matching app. You build lists for whatever you want, comedies, best of the 90s etc. We've also got a fair few curated pre built watchlists (and happy to get suggestions for more!). You send the list of things you want to watch to your friend, who swipes through them in a tinder-style UI, right to like, left to pass. When you get a match, both sides have it in their Playlist so whenever you're next in the mood for a movie you've got your shared curated list already. This means you can do it whenever, build your list whenever, agree on it whenever, and means movie time = straight to watching something both want. THANK YOU FOR READING!
