I kept repeating the same tiny tasks across different apps on my Mac. Open this, find that, copy something over, check a detail, then do it again later. None of it was hard, but the repetition added up. So I built Glide, a voice-first desktop agent that lives in the Mac notch. It can listen to what I ask, read what is on my screen, remember context, and work across desktop apps in the background. It can also point to things on screen when I need help finding a button or menu. The goal is not to replace every app with a chatbot. It is to make the small handoffs between apps less annoying.
