I'm working on Verinome, a tool for people who already have a raw DNA file from 23andMe or AncestryDNA. It turns supported markers into an educational report with references and A–D evidence grades. The part I want feedback on is how we explain uncertainty. A result being in your file doesn't mean the research behind it is strong, and missing markers shouldn't look like reassuring results. You can check your file's coverage and see up to five starter findings for free, without an account or card. The full report and downloadable PDF are $15 once, with no subscription. The number of findings depends on the file. On privacy: the raw file is parsed in your browser. Generating the full report sends selected genetic marker readouts and a purchase-access credential to our report service. It is not a fully offline product, and those readouts are still sensitive genetic data.
