A few weeks ago I posted a text-to-speech tool that runs the model in your browser. The most requested thing was the opposite direction: captions for video you already have. So it now does that too. Drop in an MP4, MOV, WebM or an audio file and it transcribes it on your own machine, word by word. You get an editor to fix any line, five caption styles, and an export that burns them into a vertical MP4 — plus .srt, .vtt and .ass if you'd rather take them elsewhere. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account, no length limit and no watermark. The transcriber downloads once the first time you use it, and after that it works offline. It also translates the captions while keeping the timing on the original voice, so a Spanish clip can go out with English subtitles without redoing the sync. https://narra-voz.pages.dev/ Built it because every other option either capped my minutes or wanted the video on their server.
