So i started this app. It’s taking good shape. Main market is US but some presence in Germany, Switzerland and UK too. I have not monetised it yet as it’s a social app and i am happy it being free for next 6 months. Situation- I am Indian citizen with PR in Germany. I do a full time job, started the app like a hobby and it has taken up well in US. For small things like sending marketing emails to my existing users, the law needs me to show address in emails. Already my name shows up in the app store too which is troubling already. If i need to charge my users in future, then need to show my address too. Questions: Am i overthinking on marketing emails? The emails are sent to my existing users who have not signed in for some time and i want to bring them back, Monthly newsletters etc Do i register a Business in Germany? Hate the paper work and potential blowout in my employer. I feel i will always be judged as running a side business. Also i plan to start a new job in few months. Maybe i open a pvt ltd company back in India on someone’s name in my family and run the app? Is there a legal issue here? If some company wants to acquire my app, could this create issue in future? Can i get away with buying a virtual mailbox or something? Does it need to be in US or Germany is fine too? Sorry if my queries are all over the place. Just confused and a bit tired.
