Original Summary
Two-sided marketplace: webshops on one side, people who ship those parcels from home on the other. The shop pays the label price we get from the carrier, plus the sender per-parcel fee, plus 3 percent platform commission. No monthly fee, no storage fee. Senders pay nothing. Reasoning: the objection is trust, not price, so I do not want price to be a second reason to say no. Counter-argument I keep hearing: 3 percent of a EUR 10 transaction is EUR 0.30 and I will never fund support at that. Is there a pricing move that keeps "zero risk to try" but makes the unit economics survive: a flat per-parcel platform fee, a fee on the sender side, or a paid tier once a shop passes N parcels a month? What actually worked for your marketplace, and at what point did you introduce it? submitted by /u/chainedkids420 [link] [comments]
