Original Summary
Hey everyone, A little while ago I shared the landing page I’ve been building for my Chrome extension (SEO AI Assistant) to get some honest roasts and feedback. One piece of feedback that really stood out u/prateekmehraji was that the page completely lacked a "How to Use" section. It sounds so obvious in hindsight, but when you're the one building the tool, you forget that other people don't magically know how the UI works. I spent the weekend fixing this. I just pushed an update to the site that adds a full step-by-step visual guide showing exactly what happens when you click scan, what the scores mean, and how the AI fixes work. I’m also in the process of porting this visual guide over to my Chrome Web Store listing since it makes so much sense there too. Just wanted to post a quick appreciation for this community. Getting an outside perspective is brutal sometimes but so necessary. Since I'm still tweaking things: for those of you who build extensions, what else do you consider an absolute "must-have" on a landing page? Is there anything else about the site (or the tool itself if you've tried it) that feels clunky or missing? Thanks again for the help! https://extcafe.com submitted by /u/CaffeineIntoCode [link] [comments]
