Original Summary

​ I’m a chef living on Sark in the Channel Islands, and I built NAKED EYE because I kept finding out about interesting things in the sky after I’d already missed them. I didn’t want another huge astronomy catalogue. I wanted something that could simply answer: What’s worth seeing tonight? When should I go outside? Where should I look? So the app now brings together things like planets, the Moon, ISS passes, meteors, aurora and local sky conditions. The bit I’m probably most proud of is Target Lock — once the app tells you something is worth seeing, it can actually help point you towards it. I’ve attached one of the graphics I made showing how the app fits together.
