Original Summary

My 3 friends and I have been working on our e2e encryption messaging app, Rome, for the past 11 months straight, and we’re finally just 1 week away from launch. It’s been a long road. Late nights, constant iteration, rebuilding things from scratch, and pushing through all the moments where things just didn’t work. But now it’s actually real. Rome is a chat platform we built with a big focus on privacy, security, and functionality. We’ve designed it for the future AI integration as well but decided not to push it in early versions. A lot of apps in this space either sacrifice functionality or security. We’ve been trying to solve both at the same time. Right now, we’re gathering early users on our Discord server before launch. We want real feedback, real users, and to shape the product with a small community first. *I’ll drop the Discord link in the comments. Honestly, it still feels surreal that we’re this close to launch. Let’s see where this goes. submitted by /u/idkjustmadeitfor [link] [comments]
