Original Summary
Rumble Fighter has basically been dead for years, and I finally decided to build something inspired by it because I genuinely loved that game. It does not replace it yet, it is a good starting point Just to be upfront, because that matters: FormFromLight is my own product. I’m not a random user reviewing a tool I found somewhere, I built it myself. So this post is more of a devlog about how I’m using my own MCP stack in a real project. The project is basically my attempt to recreate that kind of fast arena brawler feel that made Rumble Fighter so fun, but with original assets, original arenas, original abilities, and my own twist on it. How I’m building it: FormFromLight MCP for generating characters, props, and arena asset kits from text prompts and reference images (you can also use it without MCP) Blender MCP for cleanup, fixing meshes, and handling animation work. Unreal MCP for building levels, working with the C++ project, and actually running and iterating on the game What’s been really interesting so far is testing how far an AI-assisted workflow can go when it’s not just writing code, but also jumping between 3D generation, Blender, and Unreal in one pipeline. I’m still early and there’s a lot left to do, especially around combat feel, movement, hit detection, responsiveness, effects, and multiplayer. But it already feels way more real than just another small demo project. submitted by /u/Witty-Tangerine3606 [link] [comments]
