Original Summary
I launched sunroomhq.com , the SaaS I’ve been working on full-time for 6 months. It was a huge success if the goal was to learn that no one cares you launched something. We spent 6 months building it, around $3k, and hundreds of hours of our time. We had about 10 sign ups but none of them were quality leads. The beauty of no one caring is that we can keep launching again and again. Software isn't like a physical store where you open once and either thrive or die. Large SaaS companies like Linear and Lovable have already realized that. Lovable launched 2-3 times depending on how you count it and linear has a whole article about their method of launching again and again. https://linear.app/method/launching So we’re launching again. Our product is a client portal for creatives. Now, it's focused on video agencies. My cofounder runs a video agency so that's who we can help best. This time we’re getting agencies into the product before launch and watching how they use it. We’re planning to launch again on December 15. That gives us 3 more months to learn and optimize our product. As AI saturates the software market, people are becoming worried that they have to launch and be successful as fast as possible. But I think more than ever, it pays to be patient and focused on building something genuinely useful. submitted by /u/AggravatingNews1945 [link] [comments]
