Original Summary
One founder is building an app that makes you do squats before you can scroll. Another lets tradespeople dictate a quote from a building site. Others are making directories where projects bid for attention. I started collecting projects from the “let’s connect” threads to see what people were building. That became FellowMakers, my project and the collection behind this analysis. The largest groups centered on keeping a business moving: finding customers, following up, publishing regularly and delivering paid work. Beyond those, the collection opens up into learning, care, money and everyday routines. Where these numbers come from I followed founder introductions, quote posts and related conversations, then checked project descriptions and websites. The research was AI-assisted, with a separate review of the descriptions and groupings against the sources. I reviewed 851 founder projects. So far, the map brings together 452 projects in 71 waves (groups tackling similar problems). Other projects have more individual ideas, or need clearer descriptions before I can place them. The counts below match the published map on September 19, 2026. Projects can belong to several waves, so counts overlap. The collection includes solo founders, studios and teams. 1. Finding customers takes several kinds of products There are 25 projects helping products get discovered , 19 helping with sales leads and follow-ups , and 15 helping businesses appear in AI-generated answers . On rankbid.lol , projects bid for higher positions on a listing board. Vidima checks whether AI answers mention a business and suggests improvements. Getting listed, being recommended and following up with a potential customer are separate jobs. Founders are building for each step, including 13 projects focused on finding the first users . 2. Publishing tools start at different points in the work Social publishing and product discovery are jointly the largest waves, with 25 projects each. Another 17 create or edit visuals, while 6 help explain a product through a demo. Alongly lets builders share their progress as an ongoing story. Blipix combines scripts, voiceovers, captions and visuals, then publishes short videos. Screenify Studio turns screen recordings into product demos with click-based zooms, smoother cursor movement and device mockups. The starting points differ: work worth sharing, a video to produce, or a product to explain. Smaller waves cover sponsorships, media kits, book and music releases, and product photography for online shops. 3. Software builders want both a head start and more control 8 projects provide app foundations , and 13 offer code or templates people can keep . ApparenceKit supplies common mobile-app features such as sign-in, subscriptions and notifications. Another 11 projects help users inspect or limit the actions AI assistants take , and 7 build human review into the process. Collie turns a plain-English request into a plan for the user to approve before it ru
