i was losing track of old subscriptions i wasn't even using, and i got sick of having to text my friends every single month to get their part for shared accounts. instead of making another complicated spreadsheet, I just built a simple app called Backly . what it does: tracks personal subs in one place. manages shared plans with friends or family. sends push notifications when it's time to pay, so nobody can use the "i forgot" excuse. about privacy and money: i didn't add email scraping because it feels way too invasive, and there are no built-in payments to avoid transaction fees and security headaches. it just organizes everything. it's currently in public beta on iOS and Android.
