Original Summary
After seeing the Twitter trend of products bidding for visibility, I started to think: what if, instead of a leaderboard, your product had its own little storefront? So I built Launchville - a small, low-poly style 3D town where your app or website gets a shop, a sign with its name, and a door that leads to your product. How it works: Design your space: give it a name, pick the building colors, add a logo, website, or a message that floats above the shop Choose a spot: place your storefront with town coins (sign up and get 100 coins to place your store!) Visit your neighbors: discover what other people are making and earn coins for visits Spots can change hands: a new store gets 24 hours of protection. After that, someone else can take the location Keep your design: if your spot gets taken, your design is saved and the coins you spent come back to your balance, so you can set up somewhere else I started with a much bigger scope and had to keep cutting it down to actually ship something. Anyways, this is the MVP. I’d love your feedback! submitted by /u/exponentyl [link] [comments]
