Original Summary
I made a small tool called TheWebstats, so take my view with that in mind. The idea was to put simple visitor analytics and live chat in one dashboard for small sites, instead of running Google Analytics and a separate chat tool. It's early, and I'm trying to work out which of these decisions were right: Chat and analytics in one inbox, or should they stay separate? A WhatsApp fallback when nobody's online, versus a plain contact form Cookieless, anonymous tracking, at the cost of less detailed data For those of you who run analytics and chat on your own sites: what's the one thing you wish these tools did better? And where do you draw the line between "simple" and "too limited"? Happy to share more details in the comments if anyone's interested. https://www.thewebstats.com/ submitted by /u/Ok-Storage-415 [link] [comments]
