Original Summary
Working means screens all day. The second I stop, the phone is in my hand. Not because I want it. My brain just can't sit still at that point. Some of it is FOMO. Something moves in my space and I didn't see it, so I go check, and checking turns into scrolling. So I never really think anymore. I just react, all day. The only quiet I get is the few minutes after waking up before I grab the phone. If you run something, how do you get thinking time back? Do you block it out, or does it only happen away from screens? submitted by /u/1a5t [link] [comments]
