I&#x27;m a software developer with about 12 YEO, so far I haven&#x27;t had a problem finding work and for the foreseeable future I don&#x27;t see Claude taking my job just yet, but every month AI models get better, so I fear this profession will disappear in 5 or 10 years from now, 5 years ago when Copilot was just a fancy autocomplete tool I couldn&#x27;t even dream of how capable LLMs could get. Thus, I&#x27;m not sure if I should start planning my exit plan and become a farmer or something before it&#x27;s too late.<p>So, what do you think? Are you preparing for the post-developer world, or do you think this is just a bump in the road?
