Original Summary
I ran a small experiment on a cancellation flow. We had the usual cancellation reasons, but also gave users an open text box to share anything else. Around 50% of users wrote something. Even though it was optional, honestly this blew my mind. What stood out to me was that people shared things that didn’t fit neatly into the options we’d given them. It made me realise that people might actually want to tell you what happened. They just need a place where they feel like they can say it in their own words. That feels especially important when someone is cancelling. Sometimes the best question is simply: “What else should we know?” submitted by /u/AppsolutelyGenious [link] [comments]
