Original Summary
Hey everyone, Most subscription trackers today suffer from two major annoyances: They force you to connect Plaid or bank feeds, exposing your entire financial history just to track a handful of recurring services. They hit you with a mandatory account creation screen upfront and demand an ongoing recurring subscription just to calculate basic expenses. I built Subtrack ( https://getsubtrack.lovable.app ) to take the opposite route: Zero login friction: You jump straight into an interactive, functional dashboard. You can add subscriptions, test the interface, and see your totals immediately without handing over an email or password first. No bank sync, fully private: Everything runs directly in the browser using local storage with client-side CSV exports. Your financial data never touches an external database. * One-time payment ($29.99 LTD): Instead of asking people to pay an ongoing subscription to track their subscriptions, I opted for a simple lifetime access pass for unlimited entries. I’d love some honest feedback from fellow builders: Does landing straight into an interactive tool make you more likely to test it, or do you still prefer a traditional marketing landing page first? For lightweight personal utilities, would you ever consider a one-time pass, or are simple spreadsheets still your undefeated go-to? Happy to dive into technical questions about the stack or implementation! submitted by /u/Hot-Stranger644 [link] [comments]
