Original Summary
I’ve been working on Cryox Gemini Drive, an open-source file vault that uses Gemini conversations as the remote attachment layer. Files are encrypted locally with AES-256-GCM before upload, and the local machine keeps the vault key, index, encrypted mirror, session state, and recovery metadata. Current features: local encryption before upload recovery from Cryox-marked Gemini history encrypted local mirror fallback loopback-only local server by default local search and sorting GPL-3.0-only It’s still alpha, so I’m mainly looking for feedback on setup, recovery behavior, security assumptions, and anything that feels confusing. submitted by /u/Impressive-Chard-666 [link] [comments]
