Hey guys, I have been constantly in the need for different colored light sources for various purposes like screen cleaning, photography, face lighting etc. and it has been a hassle to find a quick solution to this. And so I built a dedicated, white screen lightweight web tool to solve this: whitescreenlight.com It's a completely free and easy to use tool with multiple color options and glow and flicker features. It can fulfil purposes like: Screen Testing: It uses pure colors at maximum intensity in full screen and, it’s perfect for spotting dead pixels, stuck subpixels, or checking for backlight bleed and panel uniformity. Webcam Lighting: If you want to get on a late night video call or want some soft face lighting, you can place a laptop or tablet running the site next to your camera. It acts as an instant softbox fill light to clear up shadows on your face. Photography Lighting: It works great as a clean, glowing light source with multiple colored light options, if you need to take high-contrast product shots of small items or face lighting photography or even glowing effect in photography Tracing Canvas: You can maximize your device brightness, turn on full screen mode, and use your tablet or laptop screen as a light source to trace sketches and drawings over paper. Ambient Light: If you hate working in a pitch-black room, you can use the built-in brightness slider (or arrow keys) or swipe gestures for phones, to dim the screen down into a soft, diffused reading lamp or desk light.
