Original Summary
Hey! We’re a two-person studio, building an Android app for anxiety self-help. Decisions so far: no accounts, no streaks or badges. The SOS screen needs zero taps the technique starts on its own, because mid-panic you can't choose anything. Breathing is 4 in / 6 out with no hold, since longer holds can make panic worse for some people. We're leaning on clinical sources plus lived experience, but we're not clinicians. Three things I'd like to know: 1. Has an app's breathing exercise ever made things worse for you? 2. What would you want an app to do when you can't think straight? 3. What do these apps overdo? Disclosure: I'm one of the two building it. Nothing to sell, not released, no ads planned. We post the process on Instagram ( @elivo.studio ), but feedback is what I'm here for and thanks to anyone willing to share their experience 🤍 submitted by /u/Spurginukas [link] [comments]
