I build small SaaS tools. Talking to bookkeepers, the same complaint kept coming up: plenty of their clients bank at small banks and credit unions with no usable feed, so every month someone re-keys PDF statements into QuickBooks by hand. Statement-to-CSV converters already exist — one of them reportedly does ~$40k/mo doing only that. But they hand you a raw, uncategorized dump, and categorization is the part bookkeepers actually bill hours for.
