I’ve been making minimal, private apps for everyday human needs (not another productivity apps lol)

Original Summary
Hi y’all — I’m a designer and traveler who believes good design can change things, even if only a little. That still feels worth making. I kept wondering how to make something thoughtful that could reach people easily. We all already carry phones, so I started making small apps that anyone could just download and use. It began as a fun side project, but slowly became what I spend most of my spare time doing. I’ve learned a lot about coding, building, testing, and polishing along the way. For the past couple of months, I’ve been building small, private apps around everyday human needs. No accounts, because I’m personally tired of apps asking for my phone number or making me sign up when there is no real reason to. I kept coming back to the same thought: a lot of adult life does not need another productivity system, feed, or app trying to fix us. Sometimes we just need a quiet place to hold something, clear a little brain RAM, or keep everyday things in one simple stream. I talked with friends, paid attention to my own habits, and started making a small family of apps around that. No accounts, social layer, or unnecessary clutter — just one simple, human purpose and a small ritual on your phone. I currently have more apps on Google Play, and I’m slowly bringing them to the App Store too. The ones below are available on both platforms if any of this feels relatable to you. PARK it A place for a few short keyword clouds (w short hidden notes you can tap add) you want to hold for tomorrow, with a reminder when you choose. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/parkit-reminder-for-tonight/id6807457894 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.parkit.app CUE it A freeform timer for real-life moments/rituals where timing matters. Make your own cues for routines, transitions, cooking, coffee, preparation, or anything else that needs a gentle structure. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cueit-routine-timer/id6808521449 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cueit.app DIARY it A quiet single-stream diary for writing what happened, without turning your life into a performance or a system to maintain. (It is prob my favorite one) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/diaryit-diary-journal/id6808505331 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.diaryit.app KEEP it A private place to send yourself small thoughts as they arrive: a simple self-text stream for the things you want to keep before they disappear. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/keepit-private-self-chat/id6808910328 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keepit.tb I’m still early in this and learning a lot as I go. I’ve been building these in my spare time for the past few months, so it’s become a hobby with a lot of lessons attached to it and Im grateful for what Ive came up with and just sharing it on reddit now. Anyway, I’d genuinely love to hear which of these feels useful, unnecessary, or like it’s missing something. submitted by /u/ElectronicAnt6753 [link] [commen
