For those who have shipped desktop/SaaS products, what distribution model did you use? For example: Traditional installed desktop app Tray/background app that runs a local web server, with the UI in a browser Desktop app with a local server underneath Local server/NAS accessed by other computers Something else What did you choose, and what have you found to be the main pros/cons in practice?
