I've been exploring different paid ad strategies for my site: https://portreeve.com I saw a lot of promotion for reddit ads so I decided to give them a try. After about a week, it felt like 90% of the traffic was bots. Looking through my session replays, almost all of the traffic was under 3s. They bounced almost as soon as the page loaded. Ate through the daily budget very quickly, with 0 return. While I know it could be a targeting issue, it did kind of sour me. Contrast that with google ads where I was seeing about a 8.2% CTR and meaningful interaction and clicks.
