Original Summary
Quick backstory: Last year my dad got cut in the federal layoffs. He's in his 50s and was there for over a decade. For months I watched him scroll LinkedIn and Indeed for hours just for a few postings to apply to. I'm 19 in college, so I decided to put my CS skills and Claude knowledge to work and build something better. Two months of building later: 1,000 people signed up, 20 paying, and over 10 million postings added to the system last month. Most importantly, my dad got hired!!! Another user also just got an offer at Databricks. What it does: - Pulls postings straight from employer's own hiring systems (Greenhouse, Workday, and 50 others) as well as from job boards like LinkedIn (out of spite). Postings are from all over the world in any sector. - Claude Code (or any coding agent) takes the resume and plain-English preferences (location, dealbreakers, etc.), then reads every new posting against that and gives a verdict. - It runs from the terminal, and exposes commands to set searches which run and filter postings on a schedule. - Autoapply isn't a feature but it's coming, because I want it for my own internship search I can't fire the guy who fired him (😒), but now I'm set on helping anyone else that's in a similar position. The site is pinloop.ai if you want to check it out. The CLI is open source too. submitted by /u/parfumparrot [link] [comments]
