Hey everyone, I’m fairly new to building software and I’ve been thinking about trying something a bit different. Instead of trying to build one huge app, I want to experiment with making a collection of very small, simple utilities that solve specific everyday annoyances or quality of life problems. Nothing revolutionary. Just those little things where you think, “Why isn’t there a simple tool for this?” I just finished my first one, a tiny Mac utility called Keyboard Cleaner. It temporarily locks the keyboard while you clean it, so you don’t accidentally press keys, trigger shortcuts, type random things, etc. This is really my first step into building and releasing software, so I’m mainly trying to learn how people actually use these things and what makes a tiny utility genuinely useful. If you have any stupidly small problem that annoys you on a regular basis, I’d actually love to hear about it.
