When you're running a home server, “it works on this machine” only gets you so far. Netsight is my iPhone/iPad network utility; its Port Scanner lets you check which ports on that server respond from your phone. Connect your phone to your own local network, then use Tools → Port Scanner to scan the server's local IP. Review the open ports against the services you intended to make available. The useful detail: a port answering over your Wi-Fi doesn't establish that it's reachable from the internet. That depends on the network path and firewall rules.
