Original Summary
My brother and I have been building a B2C Fintech SaaS, and getting the first users has been one of the hardest parts so far. The idea started when we were using an automated investing platform and joined a Discord community around it. We noticed that a lot of people were interested in the platform but couldn't use it because they weren't US citizens. That made us wonder if there was an opportunity to build something similar for people outside the US. We started talking to people in different countries about what they would actually need. We tried several brokerage integrations and eventually got a couple working. What surprised us was how much more complicated international fintech is than we expected. Brokerage availability, regulations, account requirements, and country specific restrictions all become part of the product. Now we have a working MVP and we're trying to figure out how to get people to actually use it and not just say they're interested. For founders who have built B2C SaaS or international products, what worked for getting your first users to take that first step? I'd especially be interested in hearing from anyone who has dealt with fintech or country-specific restrictions. submitted by /u/Bobby_with_Quantly [link] [comments]
