Original Summary
For those running a SaaS with a free trial, how do you figure out which trial users are actually worth paying attention to? I’m asking because I’ve been looking at trial conversion and it seems kind of weird that you can have thousands of people in a trial, but still have no idea who is actually close to buying. You can see what people are doing in your product, but turning that into something useful seems harder. Like, if someone keeps coming back, uses a specific feature a lot, invites teammates, hits a limit, etc. you’d probably want to know that they’re showing buying intent. Do you guys have a way of identifying these users today? Or do you basically treat the whole trial the same and let the conversion happen naturally? Curious how people actually handle this. submitted by /u/ponziedd [link] [comments]
