I’ve been working on a small tool called Parcel Invoice Auditor. The idea is pretty simple. You upload a UPS Billing Center Global Flat File CSV and it analyzes the billing data for charges that may be worth taking a closer look at. Things like weight and dimensional weight differences, unexpected adjustments and other charges that can be difficult to spot when an invoice contains hundreds or thousands of shipments. I built it because I wanted to see if this could be turned into a simple self-service tool instead of a complicated parcel auditing service. The beta is free, there’s no account required, and the audit runs directly from the uploaded CSV. At this point I’m much more interested in finding out whether it’s actually useful with real UPS invoices than adding more features.
